Joseph Twigg is a visionary entrepreneur and the CEO of Aveni.ai, a cutting-edge regtech company specialising in NLP solutions for the Financial Services industry. Prior to founding Aveni, Joseph spent 15 years working in the Investment Industry in Edinburgh and London, laterally as the Global Head of Strategy and Business Management for Aberdeen Standard Investments.
Dr Barry Haddow
Head of NLP, Aveni
Barry has been a researcher in the University of Edinburgh's School of Informatics since 2005. His research has been about making computers do useful things with text, such as extracting information, or translating the text into other languages. Barry was a pioneer of the neural network approach to machine translation, which has significantly boosted its quality.
